An avid Hip-Hop fan throughout his entire life, Chicago native Mark “ShaH” Evans is solidifying his position in the Midwest as a marketing and promotions force in the new industry.  ShaH moved to Wisconsin after to finish high school and studied business.  He then moved to the capital city of Madison and wasted no time establishing himself as a live event booking agent, organizing and promoting concerts featuring artists ranging from Zion I to Wiz Khalifa.  As he met more artists through live events, he began to connect the dots between national touring acts and regional artists, arranging collaborations with Bizzy Bone, DJ Pain 1, and others.

As ShaH began to network within the music industry, he took the next logical step in his career and cofounded a record label.  He continued booking events and eventually linked up with both the Get Your Buzz Up (GYBU) traveling showcase and Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes.  He booked and hosted a number of their events, which lead to him become vice-president of GYBU and blogmaster of both GYBU and Coast2Coast.

ShaH then applied his experience in the new industry to helping artists market themselves, gain exposure and build their brands.  He was able to secure one artist, “Yella the Triple Threat,” a write-up in the 2012 freshman issue of XXL magazine as well as radio interviews on Shade 45 and a number of live events throughout the country.  These successes lead ShaH to become the Urban Threshold PR affiliate in the Midwest as well as content manager for Miss Mimi and Shade 45.

In addition to his extensive booking resume, his new industry connections and his independent consulting business, ShaH has also co-founded a non-profit group, the Urban Community Arts Network (UCAN), a group dedicated to helping aspiring artists with professional development and fostering connections between the urban arts and community-based organizations.

With the establishment of M.E. Management and Consulting, ShaH plans to provide useful services to serious artists across the world.  His services include consulting, radio campaigns, social media boosts, song and album promotion and a number of other services essential to aspiring artists working towards becoming professionals in the new music industry.  Browse the various packages on this site and contact M.E. Management and Consulting today to start a campaign.
